Marguerite "Goog" Nash 82
Passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
She was born September 22, 1934 in Somerset, the daughter of the late George and Marguerite Skinner Montell.
She attended Holy Trinity School in Somerset and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in New Lexington.
Marguerite is survived by her husband of 61 years, Roger J. Nash. Her Children, Michael Perry (Bobbi) Nash; Mitchel Nash (fiance Shelby); and Michele (Mark) Luning.
Grandchildren, Andy (Shelly) Nash, Nicole Nash, Devin (Lindsey) Nash, Morgan Nash, Curt (Abby) Luning, Shane (Kelsi) Luning. Seven great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Montell and a sister, Patricia Beckham.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME, 118 S JACKSON ST., NEW LEXINGTON,
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 309 S Main St., New Lexington with Father C.M. Haddad as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, 228 S Columbus St., Somerset. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School, 309 N Main St., New Lexington, OH 43764. Roger & Family,
So sorry to hear about Goog.My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. She was a "straight shooter" for sure! I loved being a part of the Nash family and wish it could have lasted longer!My love to all of you at this time. Sorry I was not aware or I certainly would have been there. Prayers for healing to all.
