RUTH EVELYN (ABRAM) BUSSEY

Ruth Evelyn Abram Bussey went to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on December 4th, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1932, to the late Chester and Hazel Abram. She was married to the late Howard Bussey who passed away September 18, 2021.

Ruth was an active member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in new Lexington under the teaching of Pastor Larry Ruh. She worked at Bryant heating and cooling until she retired in 1990. She was an avid gardener and loved planting flowers all around her home. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved cooking for the whole family. She would decorate the entire house with mostly homemade decorations, and pinecones. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was never tired of having them around. She loved all the babies and had a special touch with them. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra  (John) Kokensparger, and Lisa (Brian) Varney. Sister, Bonnie (Max) Grant, sister-in-law Jessie Abram, Grandchildren, Billi (Bill) Klingler, Ricky Amburgey (Elizabeth Howdyshell), Tara (Dustin) Lansing, AnnA (Ivan) Anderson, 14 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, one special friend and caregiver Hannah Kaido, and Bryan Marshall.  She was preceded in death by her Howard Bussy, her sister, Idella Whitmer, Brother Bill, Kenny, and Phillip Abram.

Calling hours will be held 10 am to 1 pm Friday December 8, 2023, at the Rehoboth Baptist Church 5200 OH-345 New Lexington, Ohio 43764 with funeral services to be held at 1 pm with Pastor James Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Community Gardens Cemetery 5080 SR-13, Somerset, Ohio 43783.
